Afshar tribe
Afshari carpets are usually one-wfted and woven in Zaronim and wide prayer carpet sizes employing dark red, dark bluish – black, brown, purple, and ivory colors. Knotes of their carpets based on the location of weaving and habits of the weaver, are of Turkish and Farsi types. According to tribial traditions, weavers of this tribe too, alternatively weave Kilim (short-napped coarse carpet), addle bag etc.




This is a small town located on border of Loot desert. Its carpets are very famous both in internal and abroad markets so that high quality and exceptional Kerman carpets are known as “ Ravar Kerman”.



Is amongst one of the first cities in which foreign firms established carpet-weaving workshops and from where started to export carpets to western markets.
